Temporary spare tyres

Temporary Spare tyres can be recognized by the “T” for “Temporary” in front of the tyre size description.

For example: T135/90R16

Temporary spare tyres may only be used in an emergency as one wheel of the vehicle.

Do not operate your vehicle with more than one temporary spare in use. A temporary spare may only be used at the limited speed (max 80km/h or max 50mph) as indicated on the sidewall and/or the label attached to the tyre/wheel.

As it is designed for temporary use it should be removed and replaced with a conventional tyre/wheel assembly as soon as possible.
