Pirelli: No Win, No Sponsorship!

Inter Milan have it all to do if they want to retain current sponsors Pirelli. Languishing in mid table mediocrity last season is not what Pirelli president Marco Tronchetti Provera expects for their circa 14 millions euro a year deal. In an interview with Rai GR Parlamento he stated wins were needed for the sponsorship to be renewed past its 2016 expiry date.

The 2010 Champions League Winners haven’t made an impression of late, and since former manager (and long time friend of the Pirelli president) Massimo Moratti’s departure things have turned sour all round. Inter have failed to make it through to the 2015/16 Europa league, and this lack of international exposure could be the final nail in the coffin for Pirelli.

The only glimmer of hope seems to be a few kind words from the Pirelli head man, that he believes Inter are still good at their game and that management are doing their best to get new players and attract extraordinary coaches. so, lets see what the 2015/16 brings and whether Inter can hold on to their lucrative sponsor…
