Happy Frost’s Descent

Frost’s Descent is the 18th solar term in the 24 Solar Terms of China and also the last solar term in autumn – the transition from autumn to winter.
It usually occurs around October 23rd every year. At this time, the weather is gradually getting colder. In the morning, you can often see a thin frost covering the grass and leaves, creating a quiet and beautiful scene. Because “frost” is the manifestation of cold weather and large temperature difference between day and night, this solar term, which indicates “a sharp drop in temperature and a large temperature difference between day and night”, is named “Frost’s Descent”.
In China, during the Frost’s Descent solar term, there are mainly customs such as admiring chrysanthemums, eating persimmons, climbing high to look far into the distance, and taking tonics.
When Frost’s Descent comes, the temperature drops sharply. Pay attention to keeping warm. Have fun during Frost’s Descent!
